Gelatin silver print, printed c. 1999. 28.8 x 38.8 cm (30.5 x 40.5 cm). Signed, dated, titled in pencil and photographer's stamp on the verso. - Matted.

The FDR songwriter leaves the stage following his legendary concert at Cologne sports hall on 13th November. No one yet suspects that the SED leadership will announce his expatriation three days later. His expatriation made Wolf Biermann an all German phenomenon.
