A Kuro Raku chawan. 19th century

A Kuro Raku chawan of rounded shape on a small foot, the body completely covered with a shiny deep-black glaze, and a few silver-inlaid rivets along a glaze ridge, probably a restoration. Fine crack. Old collector's number in white ink at the foot. 19th century. Brocade pouch and wooden box.
