A large Berlin KPM porcelain writing set with "weichmalerei" decor

Decorated with two rococo ladies heads, softly painted pansies and daffodils, and richly gilt relief decor. Blue sceptre mark with C, red imperial orb mark, model no. 3563B, year letter G for 1907. The rocaille to the finial reattached, the ink bowl lost. L 38.5 cm.

This writing set was designed as part of an extensive desk garniture. The candle holders from this set are illustrated in Dietz, Petersberg, 2013 under L 14 and L 15.
