An enamelled and gilt copper ciborium

The base, shaft, and cuppa screw-mounted, the lid hinged. The hexagonal base decorated with six enamelled rosettes (presumably not original), and foliate ornaments. The hexagonal shaft also with foliate decor and a flat Gothic pommel. The facetted cuppa interior gilt and set into an engraved support set with three winged angels' heads in relief and the lid with a later round finial. The finial replaced, losses to the enamel, wear to the gilding, slightly dented. H 28.5 cm.
