A Parisian inlaid mahogany architect's table

Tin, brass, and ebony inlays, replaced leather writing surface, casters. A rare, elegant, and functional piece from the Charles X period. Of Neoclassical design with closed supports and base. With three drawers to the apron and a hinged central panel that can be folded up for use whilst standing. With classical style foliate decor to the sides. Restored. H 74, W 128, D 78 cm.
Attributed to Jacob-Desmalter, 1830, after a model by Percier et Fontaine.
