A Parisian ormolu pendulum clock

Silver-plated enamel dial with blued hands. 14-day running, anchor escapement with spring suspension and half-hourly striking to a bell. A large figural pendulum clock formed as Cupid crowning Psyche on a stepped base with a relief of Venus disarming Cupid. The dial signed "PICNOT PERE A PARIS" (documented as of 1812). H 65, W 43, D 14 cm.
