A West Tibetan rare copper alloy figure of Canda Vajrapani. 14th/15th century

The fierce holder of the thunderbolt striding in alidhasana, holding a vajra aloft in his right hand and forming karana mudra with his left, wearing a short tiger skin with chased swirly pattern, the face and hair painted with applied cold gold and red pigments. Wooden base.
