In the shape of a 'Buri-buri' children’s toy, of octagonal cross section. Two women washing clothes in coloured hiramakie on a very fine kinji ground with the appearance of pure gold foil. On four sides, a poem about the Tamagawa River. Nashiji to the inside. Gold ojime with a plum tree in relief. Netsuke en suite in shape and technique with the 'Sho-chiku-bai' motif on a kinji ground, the edges with very fine geometric patterns. Signed: Koremitsu.
