Gouache on ivory. Half-figure portraits against grey-green ground. The gentleman in a blue jacket, the lady in a burgundy velvet dress. In gilt metal frames. Each signed to the left over the shoulders: Tixier à Tours 1825 (the gentleman) /1826 (the lady). 8 x 6.5 and 9.9 x 7.6 cm. Frame 11 x 8.5 cm.
