A magnificent platter related to the court service

Scalloped platter with thick, moulded rim. Painted with an arrangement of large scattered flowers and a dragonfly alongside an insect and three single flowers. The rim with seven flowers and a black moth. Rocaille décor picked out in blue and gold, gilt rocaille border. Impressed rhombus mark and 2. Localised losses to the pigment of some flowers, a chip to the inside of the basal ring. D 31.2 cm.
Around 1760 – 65, décor attributed to Johann Zächenberger.
