A Meissen porcelain cup with portraits of Friedrich August II of Saxony and Maria Anna of Bavaria

Cylindrical cup on paw feet with scroll handles and original saucer. Decorated in the centre with the crowned coat of arms of Saxony in a laurel wreath flanked on either side by bas relief portraits of the royal couple in oval surrounds. Blue crossed swords mark, I and 6. in green, incised and impressed marks. Wear to the gilding.
