A Venetian bronze relief with the Adoration of the Magi, second quarter 16th century

Cast bronze with engraved and gilt decor. This pierced bronze relief is thought to have been made by an artist from the circle of Jacopo d´Antonio Tatti, called Sansovino (1486 Florence - 1570 Venice).
Wear to the gilding, minor dents. Mounted on a velvet covered wooden panel. 11 x 10.7 cm.
