A Tibetochinese gilt bronze figure of Ushnishavijaya. 18th century

Ushnishavijaya, the personified ushnisha and Mother of all Buddhas, seated in dhyanasana on a double-lotus base, with three faces and eight arms, her main hands in varada and in vitarka mudra, the remaining hands posed to hold various attributes with only the integral figure of Amitabha remaining, dressed in a dhoti, scarf and adorned with jewellery inset with hard-stones. Base open.
