A small Hachmann mortar with an inscription

Golden brown cast bronze with natural patina. The display side decorated with a vacant coat-of-arms supported by winged demi-figures. Two broad banderoles above the base and below the rim inscribed in Latin capital letters: “ANNO DOMIN M VC LXXVI” and “N DEO SPES MEA”. With zoomorphic handles. Dents to the rim. H 11.3, D 11.3 cm, weight c. 2.4 kg.
