A Hachmann mortar with dog and rabbit motifs

Golden brown cast bronze with brown natural patina on the outer surface, the inner surface with slight corrosion (verdigris). The display side decorated with a vacant coat-of-arms supported by winged demi-figures. With two wide banderoles below the rim and above the base inscribed in Gothic minuscule: “int iaer ons heren m vc lxvi” and “myn hape steit allein in godt”. With two zoomorphic handles. With dents around the rim, casting irregularities to the base. H 12.5, D 13 cm, weight 3 kg.
