Bombé form oval box with the original lid. Decorated with finely painted harbour scenes in four scrollwork surrounds. Blue crossed swords mark, three dot former's mark of Johann George Grund jr. Some localised wear to the gilding. H 9.8. W 13 cm.
Ca. 1735, the décor attributed to Christian Friedrich Herold.
