A Parisian inlaid chest of drawers

Palisander, rosewood, mahogany, boxwood and stained maple veneers on oak, ormolu mountings, iron locks, replaced marble top. Two-drawer cabinet with a slightly protruding middle section and tapering serpentine supports. The front inlaid with two large vases flanking a central oval medallion with a music still life. The sides with vases of flowers. With a finely wrought bronze border along the apron. Restored. H 84.5, W 131, D 61.5 cm.
