An Italian copper statuette of a bishop saint, circa 1300

Engraved gilded copper. A figure of a saint in bishop's robes standing on a bracket. He holds his right hand aloft in a blessing and would originally have held a crozier in his left hand, which is now missing. The opening on the back shows how thinly carved the hollow figure is inside.
Wear, minor dents and minor losses. Mounted hanging from a metal stand. Height 18.5 cm.
