Hanging scroll, depicting snow ladden bamboo. Ink on silk. Signed Shina Shoo Ho hitsu (Zhina xiao weng Peng =painted by the laughing old man Kon from China) and sealed Shoho (Zhengkun) and Taiho (Dapeng), motto seal kanchu jitsugetsu cho (Jian zhong ri yue zhang=Leisure through days and nights). Wooden box, the inscription on the lid reading China Taiho osho yuki no take zu, and on the reverse reading Meiji jugo nen (1882) nigatsu roku... Goryu Kanshi and sealed.
