A Meissen porcelain tureen with rare Chinoiserie decor

Oval vessel with handles issuing from ram's head mascarons. The original lid with a crown and pine cone finial. Decorated with a dragon, bamboo, Oriental flowers and a standing crane. Unglazed base with blue crossed swords mark with dash. With minor retouches to the gilding, a minor chip to the finial. H 31.3, W 30.3 cm.
