A Meissen porcelain teapot with landscape decor

Two gold lace cartouches underlaid with purple luster around extremely finely painted landscapes with staffage figures. On the inset lid, two small kauffahrtei scenes. Blue crossed swords mark, former's mark for Johann Gottlieb Kühnel sen., gold painter's dot. A short crack to the edge of the lid, the knob reattached. H 10 cm.
C. 1735 - 39, decor attributed to Christian Friedrich Herold.
