A Meissen porcelain figure of an Allegory of Autumn

Depicting Bacchus as a young man leaning against a large garden vase in a dancing pose. He wears a flower-patterned drapery with a yellow lining and a crown of fruiting grapevines. Blue crossed swords mark inside the plinth. Both forearms, the protruding toe and some leaves restored. H 24 cm.
Model by Friedrich Elias Meyer, 1760, produced soon after.
