A Meissen porcelain teabowl and saucer with nocturnes

Decorated with two finely painted harbour scenes with merchants and tall ships under cloudy night skies in two gilt cartouche surrounds hung with iron red and purple lustre feathers. One with dreher's mark of Johann Daniel Rehschuh, 2 in gold. Both pieces restored over breakages. H tea bowl 4.8, D saucer 12.8 cm.
The porcelain Meissen, pre-1723, decor attributed to Christian Friedrich Herold, around 1725 - 30.
