A Meissen porcelain model of a female pug dog with pup

Naturalistically painted figure of a mother pug wearing a purple collar with bells and a bow. Smoothed, unmarked base. The bells and bow restored. A retouched area to the snout, the tail replaced, minor chips to the flower and foliage appliques and to the ears. H 15, W base 12 cm.
Around 1745, model by Johann Joachim Kaendler.
