Chromogenic print on Kodak-Professional paper. 21.2 x 22.1 cm (24 x 30 cm). Signed and dated in pencil on the verso.

In 1995, the Bochum association "Remembering for the Future" invited Jewish survivors of the Nazi era to visit their old hometown. Simultaneously, 25 artists were called upon to deal artistically with Bochum's Nazi past. Their works were integrated into 14 apartments on Blumenstraße in Bochum, whose residents had applied to participate in this exhibition project. This photograph shows the apartment of Emma Schick, née Redantz (*1916) at Blumenstraße 49 with Elke Denda's 'Davidsternbild‘ (1995).
