Käuze (Zwei Käuzchen)
1902

Bronze. Height 15.2 cm. Mounted on a stone plinth (4.4 x 14 x 7 cm). Signed 'A. GAUL' on the wing of the right owl. - With dark brown patina, the beaks partially slightly lighter. The eyes made from black glass. - With some faint surface abrasions.

Casts of the two owls were mounted on very different, uneven stone plinths. There are probably a few lifetime casts, some early estate casts and some casts of a more recent date.
