A Sino-tibetan gilt bronze figure of Amitayus. Qianlong era, around 1770

Seated in meditation on a high square throne from which hangs a cloth decorated with a lotus, the hands in dhyanamudra originally held a kalasha. The Buddha is adorned with a high crown, earrings, necklace, and bracelets.
