A folding album

Containing 30 shikishiban surimono. A mixture of originals and Meiji era copies. Included are series such as Sanjûrokkai zukushi (mandarin ducks) and Kai zukushi (shells), and well-known subjects such as the first dream of the year, Kintoki and carp, and tortoises. Each surimono signed: Hokkei; Ôju Hokkei ga. Mostly very good impressions and colours, some rubbed, creased and soiled, all glued at the corners to the album pages.
