A folding album

Containing 93 surimono and egoyomi in various sizes. Among the artists are Katsushika Hokusai, Utagawa Sadakage (seven surimono from Kuruwa hakkei), Totoya Hokkei, Yashima Gakutei, Keisai Eisen, Utagawa Kunisada, Kubo Shunman, Utagawa Kuniyoshi and Ryûryûkyo Shinsai. Most surimono are original editions. Each print with a short description hand-written by Dr. Kurt Meissner. Very good to fine impressions, mostly very good colours, gold, silver and blind printing, most soiled and with traces of usage, a few pages with water damage, two pages with worm damage, all surimono fully glued to the album pages.
