A rare octagonal Meissen porcelain basin with Oriental flowers

Painted with an artfully arranged bouquet of peonies and chrysanthemums, the upper rim with a border of alternating Chinoierie motifs. Blue crossed swords mark. Restored breakage to the inner left segments, the right of the basal ring restored, a minor chip to the back edge, wear to the glaze. H 6.8, W 27.7, D 23.3 cm.
