A Höchst porcelain candlestick with kissing figures

Designed as a shepherd couple standing on a rocaille plinth encrusted with foliage and picked out in purple and gold with their hands clasped around the two candle holders and a sheep, goat and dog at their feet. Hollow glazed base with firing supports and purple wheel mark, incised mark IH. The left nozzle and the foliage, her extended arm, the shepherd's crook, the horns and ears of the animals and some foliage restored. H 26.4, W 25.5 cm.
