Bronze 12.2 x 29.8 x 17.8 cm Monogrammed and dated 'ER 61/62' on the plinth. - Mid-brown, partly black, vivid patina.

Emy Roeder often realised the theme of mother animal with young animal. The "Resting Cow with Calf" is one of the artist's most mature creations based on a precisely executed preparatory drawing.
