Bronze sculpture with set upon translucent obelisk made from a synthetic material. Total height 89.5 cm, the obelisk 41 cm. Mounted upon a black marble base 4 x 40 x 22 cm. Signed Dali at the right lower edge of the saddle. The saddle with the the number "342/350" The underside of the elephant, between the front legs, with the edition stamp "© CAMBLEST 1981". - Dark green and bronze colored patina with golden highlights. - Multiple after an original plaster by the artist from 1980; monumental bronze versions were cast in an edition of 6 (height 227 cm) and 8 (height 724 cm).

With a numbered certificate stamped by Serena Fine Art Ltd., Geneva, and with the embossed stamp "CAMBLEST LTD LONDON."
