Accompanied by 2 circular metal holders as frames, to be magnetically mounted onto metal turntable of a wooden box (37.7 x 37.7 x 8.4 cm), holders and box covered with black velvet. One of the cardboard disks (Rotorelief no. 4 "Lampe") monogrammed M.D. in blue ink at the edge; signed, dated and numbered in scratched handwriting on metal plate at back side of box Marcel Duchamp 1965 and with the edition annotation "ROTORELIEF, 1935/1953 EDITION GALERIE SCHWARZ, MILAN". Final edition of the „Rotorelief“conceived in Paris in 1935 which appeared in different versions until 1965. In this version designed by Marcel Duchamp, a remaining stock of the disk series printed in New York after the war in 1953 was used (see Schwarz, op. cit. 1970, 294 a-e, especially b resp. see Schwarz (2000) 441 a-d, especially a).
