Etching (drypoint) on ivory colored laid paper 29.9 x 44.8 cm (48 x 62.8 cm) with watermark "VAN GELDER ZONEN" and with crowned fleur-de-lis emblem with the inscription "V/VGZ/Z", framed under glass. Inscribed Probedruck 3. Zustand "Gr. Operationssaal" lower left (corrected by the artist himself from "2." to "3. Zustand", i.e. from 2nd to 3rd state), signed and dated 15 at right. - With two professionally restored short tears at upper right and lower left corner; with slight studio traces in the wide margins.
