Lithograph on chamois colored firm wove paper 40.5 x 26 cm (48.2 x 31.6 cm), framed under glass. Signed W. Lehmbruck in pencil lower right and inscribed "Zwei stürmende getroffene Jünglinge" on margin. - Very rare if signed. - In accordance with confirmation by the Wilhelm-Lehmbruck Museum, Duisburg, this is an artist's proof which probably came directly into possession of Doris Schnitzler. The proofs described by Petermann are all estate proofs with the stamp and signature of Anita Lehmbruck. - Evenly browned within the mat opening with light-staining. On verso pasted on cardboard support along the edges.
