A Meissen porcelain beaker

decorated to both sides with gilt lace cartouches supporting seated Chinese figures and containing finely painted merchant navy scenes in sepia. The interior of the beaker and the cartouche filled with purple lustre. Blue crossed swords mark, dreher's mark of Johann Martin Kittel jun. H 8.1 cm.
