An alabaster relief of the Crucifixion, probably Mechelen, circa 1600.

A stone relief of the Crucifixion before a city panorama. Christ is shown between the two thieves and accompanied by Mary, Saint John, the kneeling Mary Magdalene and two soldiers arguing. The moulded socle inscribed with the raised monogram “TT” and the workshop mark.
Worn. With several fine cracks, a breakage to the right side and to Saint John's leg in the lower left. Backed with a wooden panel and firmly mounted within a modern wood frame. Ca. 17.5 x 14 x 2 cm.
