Six Parisian silver gilt plates made for the Dukes of de la Rochefoucauld. Marks of André Aucoc, 1894.

Engraved to the centre with the arms of alliance and the device "C'EST MON PLAISIR". Diameter 26 cm, weight 3080 g.

Aucoc worked for Napoleon III and Empress Eugénie as well as numerous other European courts. The plates in this lot were apparently made on occasion of the marriage of Prince Armand François de la Rochefoucauld to Princess Louise Adèle Radziwill on 19th June 1894 in Paris.
