A South Indian bronze figure of Varahi with four arms and a boar’s head, the shaki of Varaha, the boar avatara of Vishnu, seated with the right leg pointing forward, her main left hand in abhaya mudra, the other hands holding patra, sarpa and matsya. A pin at the base. 16th/18th century or earlier. Wooden stand.
