An opulent Italian inlaid table

Walnut veneer and carved wood with gilding over bole, inlaid with white and polychrome marble and coloured glass mosaic. Round top inlaid with pietra dura on tripod supports with three carved lion's head mascarons and pad feet. The top inset to the centre with a micromosaic depiction of naturalistic flowers. Shrinkage cracks to the veneer, wear to the edges, minor losses to the gilding. H 80.5, diameter 104 cm.
