A Parisian Louis XV ormolu pendulum clock

Cast and fire gilt bronze, enamel dial with black Roman numerals and Arabic minutes. Pierced gilt handles. Large 14-day pendulum movement with half-hourly striking to a bell, original domed glass front. Large rocaille case on four scroll supports. The lower section with a dolphin and a dragon holding drapery, crowned by a figure of Neptune. The dial signed "Le Nepveu AParis". Pendulum lacking, minor losses and casting flaws to the bronze. H 37.5, W 21.5 cm.
