A rare Spanish ribbed mortar with fish head handles

Golden brown bronze with dark brown patina. Squat conical form with stepped rim. Ten protruding baluster riibs surround the body. The rim surrounded by three chains containing a coat-of-arms and the inscription "(...) CALHAT". Zoomorphic handles. H 13.2, D 19.4 cm. Weight 8.1 kg.
