Augsburg 17th century

A 17th century Augsburg gold pendant with the Holy Family

Cast and engraved gold with gemstones and enamel. With an enamel depiction of the Holy Family to the front, monogrammed "IHS" to the reverse. The mountings and the delicate foliate surround set with red stones in foiled settings.
One prong of the round stone surround lost, otherwise in perfect condition. 4.7 x 4.3 cm.
