A Meissen porcelain service with battle scenes in camaieu

Comprising a large coffee pot, teapot, milk jug and sugar box, all with original lids, two tea bowls and saucers. Finely painted with battle scenes and soldiers in purple rimmed cartouches. Blue crossed swords mark, various dreher's marks and numbers, including o for Johann Caspar Haase, all pieces marked 99 in gold. The spout of the milk jug fitted with a gilt metal ring. Minor chips and repairs. H of coffee pot with lid 23.5 cm.
Circa 1739 - 40.
