A Silesian glass goblet with armorials and allegories

Round base with triangular motif border supporting a faceted baluster shaft and tapering cup. Decorated with a small armorial cartouche surrounded by twelve depictions of putti as allegories of the twelve months in oval surrounds beneath inscribed banderoles. H 20.2 cm.
Schreiberhau/Szklarska Poreba, Weißbach glassworks or Grafschaft Glatz/ Powiat Klodzko, Friedrichsglashütte, third quarter 18th C., cut decor by the workshop of Samuel Schneider.
