An early 14th century French bronze Corpus Christi

Engraved bronze with remnants of the original gilding. Christ is depicted crucified with three nails, with arms upraised and His feet crossed over one another, whereby the knees protrude outwards and His head is shown sunken, near to death.
Left arm lost. Drilled holes in the hand and feet. Minor abrasions. Height 12.4 cm.
