A KPM Berlin porcelain vase with views of the Park zu Megow.

Model 1617, "Französische Vase" with a Prussian blue ground, decorated with gold leaf vines. The two views inscribed "Eliza Jacelyn Park in Megow" and "Landhaus Ueckerhoff zu Schoeningsburg". Dated "Den 13ten Dezember 1847" to the neck area. Underglaze blue scepter mark with KPM, impressed marks Z 4. Slight wear to the gilt. H 46.5 cm.
Berlin, KPM, 1837 - 44, painted by a "Hausmaler", probably one of the painters of the manufactory.

The views show the village of Megow in West Pomerania, today Mechowo in Poland. From the 14th to the middle of the 19th century, the estate belonged to the von Schoening family, who also occupied the country house.
