A pine wood netsuke of a giant. 18th century

The giant with a very large head, a leafy skirt around his hips and a small jewel in his left hand carries a small man sitting on his shoulders, the mouth wide open and crying out loud. The garments of both figures rendered with a multitude of folds. Traces of white slip for a now completely lost polychromy. Toes of the left foot lost, a few chips.
