A Meissen porcelain teapot with Chinoiserie decor

Decorated with three finely painted figures on either side, the original lid with disc shaped finial and a further continuous Chinoiserie scene. Unmarked. Minor wear to the gilding, small rim chips to the teapot and inner rim of the lid. H 12.5 cm.
The porcelain fired before 1723, decor attributed to the 'hausmaler' Johann Andreas Lauche, c. 1735.
